Lauren and Noah planned a beautiful wedding and chose the most stunning backdrop for it all – Red Ridge Receptions in Smithville, Texas. Wow this venue stuns and I sure wouldn’t mind shooting there every day! Their day was special, planned perfectly with their family and friends in mind. So happy for these two! Congratulations!
I love everything about this wedding. The most obvious is how in love these two are, the way they look and laugh with one another and of course how stunning they look. Just look at Jordan’s wedding gown! Who knew this gem of a venue was located up in Waxahachie, but boy is it beautiful. Jordan’s vide with the boho, flower crown paired beautifully with the hundreds of trees around us, which created the perfect combination that was unique to them.
The sweetest moment was seeing Jordan laugh/cry walking down the isle to her groom, who was having a little lip quivering reaction to seeing his bride walking towards him… Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of such a beautiful day.
Hilary and Charlie were married in Bryan, Tx on a beautiful June day in the most stunning painted Catholic Churches I’ve seen. A lot of love and DIY went into this wedding making it even more personal for the two of them. Thank you for allowing me to be part in such a day and I wish you both the best marriage!
I’m so happy to share Jennifer and Gray’s beautiful April wedding that was held at Texas Old Town in Kyle, Texas. It’s so fun photographing a bride with lots of sisters because there will always be lots of crying and laughter, so much emotion between them. But it’s even more exciting that Jennifer was the first of the three girls all getting married THIS year! What an exciting and special year for this family!
I ended a beautiful March with Joey and Alyssa’s sunny wedding held at one of my favorites painted churches, St Mary’s Catholic Church. Their day flowed smoothly, Alyssa and Joey were both so laid back with smiles on their faces and with Deborah Bradley and her team behind the day I knew it would be perfect!
Rebekah and Luke are definitely an out-doors kind of a couple. So when the rain decided to come down on their wedding day, luckily they had an amazing team to transform Henkel Hall into the outdoor ceremony they wanted. Melanie Tipton, of Last Petal, her team along with Robyn of Buttoned Up Events, did an outstanding job at making the ceremony truly fit Rebekah and Luke’s style.
I was so honored to have documented their wedding. The Zatopek’s and Henderson’s are families that love and embrace each other, showing their love to the children and leading great examples of marriages. Congratulations to the both of you! May your marriage be filled with love, laughter and lots of outdoor adventures!
A big thank you to Jennifer Schattle for second shooting and the following list of wonderful vendors!
So thrilled for Ben and Jenn, for the love they found in one another, and the families they each inherited because of it. Their day was such a wonderful and fun celebration, beautifully decorated by Melanie with Last Petal and even with the constant rain throughout the day, it flowed perfectly because of Katie with Clink! A big thanks to Jennifer Schattle for shooting with me as well!
Rehearsal dinners aren’t something you see around here often, but considering this is one of my favorite families, I just had to show you all how special it was. Hosted by Bill and Debby at The Compound in Round Top, the evening was so intimate and unique and even came with some solid entertainment 😉 Melanie Tipton with Last Petal, and Mike and Susan with Bistro 108 both did wonderful jobs with providing the lovely decoration and very yummy food. I’m so excited to blog next Ben and Jenn’s wedding, because if you think this is pretty wait until you see what Melanie and Jenn did for the wedding!
I’m often told I’m pretty observant. Sometimes to a fault. But I think it comes with studying people, photographing them and learning about who they are without speaking. When meeting Rio and Bryce for the first time, separately, they were each a little reserved. Not shy, just quiet. As soon as I started shooting them, telling them to look at one another, to touch each other, that’s when their personalities and who they are really came forward. The same goes on the wedding day. As soon as Bryce gasped when he first turned to look at his soon to be wife, that’s when both their eyes started sparkling. Sounds a little corny, but it’s so true, and these are the kinds of couples that truly make my job such a joy. From the moment of their first look on, Bryce and Rio were calm, excited and so obviously in love. And from what you can see in the photos below, I think you’ll agree with me.
